Description: A treatment over a window such as a cornice board or fabric heading, either stand-alone or as part of the overall design.
Combination
Description: The use of two or more types of treatments such as draperies with shades, blinds, top treatments or cornices.
Finishing Touch – Decorative Hardware & Trim
Description: Projects using hardware that attach the window treatment to the wall (purchased or created), as well as using decorative trim/passementerie to elevate the design.
Soft Shades
Description: Custom window treatments in the form of operable shades such as roman shades.
Specialty (Arches, Odd Shapes, etc.)
Description: Innovative window treatments addressing a nonstandard window such as bay or bow, angled, arch top, skylights, two-story windows, and window walls and doors.
